Training and Accreditation
Intermec's Education Services team provides exclusive training programs that allow Partners to build upon their already significant knowledge base. The programs are tailored to help Partners develop skills that inevitably increase performance and revenue. The instruction offered by Education Services also includes the training necessary to attain and maintain PartnerNet Member status.
By completing the Basic Technology and Products Online Sales Accreditation Training and ICE Technical Training Courses Partners will enjoy many benefits including:
- Partners will be better equipped to deal with product and technology queries
- Partners will be more skilled at selling Intermec solutions, which will increase their Intermec sales ability
- Partners will be able to provide better service to their customers, enabling them to win more Intermec business

Partner Accreditation Requirements
Platinum Partner Accreditation Requirements
- Minimum 2 x Intermec Certified Engineers (ICE)
- At least one must be a Specialisation (In-Field, In-Premise, RFID or Printers)
- Accreditations valid for 2 years from date of award.
- Minumum 4 x Basic Technology & Products Sales Training Accredited Individuals
- To be completed online via Intermec University - Visit www.intermecuniversity.com to register
- Choice of 4 subjects - In-Field, In-Premise, Printer and RFID Systems
- Accreditations are valid for 2 years from the date of award.
Gold Partner Accreditation Requirements
- Minimum 1 x Intermec Certified Engineer (ICE)
- Any topic; Specialisation (In-Field, In-Premise, RFID, Printers) or Foundation (Mobile AIDC)
- Accreditation is valid for 2 years from the date of award.
- Minumum 2 x Basic Technology & Products Sales Training Accredited Individuals
- To be completed online via Intermec University - Visit www.intermecuniversity.com to register
- Choice of 4 subjects - In-Field, In-Premise, Printer and RFID Systems
- Accreditation is valid for 2 years from the date of award.

ICE Accreditation Details
This classroom based program is scheduled annually at venues around EMEA and consists of hands on technical training in the areas of In-Field, In-Premise, Printer, RFID Systems and Mobile AIDC. There is a test assessment at the end of each course. Attendance on any of these courses and passing the test assessment leads to the award of Intermec Certified Engineer (ICE). Specialisation Courses: In-Premise, In-Field, Printers, RFID.
Foundation Course: Mobile AIDC.
- Intermec Certified Engineer status applies to an individual engineer and not to the partner company.
- Intermec Certified Engineers transferring from one company to another take their ICE status with them. In these circumstances the Company from whom the Intermec Certified Engineer has left will need to ensure they meet the requirements.
- Intermec Certified Engineers receive a membership card relating to their particular specialisation.
- ICE status is valid for two years from the date of award.
- There is no restriction on how many ICE specialisations an individual engineer may hold.
- Platinum Partners may use up to 20% of their annual co-op marketing fund to support ICE Training costs.
ICE Training Fees
- ICE Specialisation courses €1800 / £1,575 / $2,610 per seat
- ICE Foundation course €1200 / £995 / $1,740 per seat
- Platinum partners may use up to 20% of annual coop marketing funds towards payment of their training fee(s)
- Basic Technology & Product Training Accreditation – Free of charge.
